Let me make a disclaimer now that you’ve arrived here.

**The person you are reading about is an enthusiastic learner who is constantly seeking new opportunities to challenge and improve, the type of person who dives into the thirst for the unknown and gets energy from discovering and creating. The individual mentioned is perfectly normal for herself, but not for those around her.** Oh, no! Allow the (in)sane to speak for herself.

Hi there! My name is Ishita, and currently in the third year of pursuing a user experience design major at MIT ID, Avantika University. The magical blend of being comfortable in the vagueness, uncertain what the outcomes will be and constantly discovering brought my attention to design and the will to keep experiencing that magic is why I continue to practice design every day. I’m constantly researching new trends and technologies to stay ahead of the game. I’m particularly interested in UX design, creating physital (physical + digital)solutions, user research, and visual design.

Design, to me, is the gap between what is and what could be. A method of visualising what the future may look like, and, more importantly, a method of evaluating these envisioned possibilities. I think that’s what setting design apart from art or philosophy. I have spent countless nights designing and creating. Every project and every challenges I’ve encountered has encouraged me to learn more about design, and solving unresolved problems is my happy spot. Also, I am inspired by people: connecting with them, understanding them. Take the human factor out of design and it becomes so lifeless. My ambition to create attractive and well-crafted creations is motivated by people.

I trust in the power of design in technology, helping create a smooth interaction and delightful experience between human and products, pragmatically solving complex problems with tactical solutions, and bringing a conceptual idea to reality. I have a keen interest of the user experience that people have with physical and digital products everyday. I’m filled with creative ideas and my enthusiasm is contagious. I’m always looking for new ways to push my creativity. I appreciate the process and the sense of accomplishment that comes from making a difference in the course of humanity. It gives me a sense of aliveness.

As an Editor-In-Chief of ‘The Weave Magazine”, I learnt about numerous sides of functioning for a publication and team management. This experience allowed me to hone my talents in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. I also lived a year as an exchange student in Belgium, which not only allows me to bring fresh viewpoints to the table but also motivates me to create for a bigger group of individuals. The power I gained by experiencing the taste of a foreign country is the most incredible asset I have ever acquired.

When I’m not playing around in Figma, I’m procrastinating. Practicing yoga, engaging myself in reading, and enjoying creative activities like cooking and painting, listening to podcasts, and taking some random YouTube classes fills up my entire 24/7. At the end of the day, I always come back to art & design. I am constantly looking for ways to portray different aspects of my personality and my ever-changing nature.
